Cone | Coil | Rope Incenses

Cone | Coil | Rope Incenses

Cone incenses are made from a mixture of essential oils and powders. They release a pungent aromatic aroma that enhances the scent of the entire room.

Coil incenses are also known as incense spirals. Coil incenses are made solely from the incense material. They do not contain a wooden or bamboo core in the center. They can be made much longer, which can greatly increase the burning time.

Rope incense is a traditional form of incense most popular in regions such as Nepal and Tibet. It is made by placing aromatic herbs, resins, and other compounds into thick rice paper and then twisting it to form a rope.

Incenses | Smudging

Incenses | Smudging

The word "perfume" comes from Old Provincial French "perumar" - per"through" and farmar "to smoke". This explains the art of perfumery, believed to have begun in the Middle East with the burning of incense. The use of incense dates back to biblical times and may have originated in Egypt, where aromatic trees were imported from Arabia to be used in religious ceremonies.

India is a land of culture, traditions, colors, and fragrance. burning agarbatti (Indian word for incense) as an activity has been followed very fondly by all religions alike. Lighting incense sticks, commonly known as agarbatti (from Sanskrit agar: "aroma". Vatti: "wound" of "grief") in India, had been an age-old tradition since the Vedas. The oldest Vedas known to humanity, namely the Rig Veda the Atharva Veda, mentions the incense. This highlights the deep-rooted relation between India and agarbatti.
